Dark Hair Dye - Turns Greys Orange!

I need to colour my hair regularly now, probably about 30-40% grey if left. My problem is that most dark brown colours work perfectly on the hair that isn't grey but colours the bits that are red or orangey.

Any tips/recommended products please?

Go a couple of shades lighter.

You need one that doesn’t have red or gold undertones. A cool or ash brown should do it. Although then you have to be careful it doesn’t go too ashy.
