3c curly hair which cream

Please recommend a cream that's not sticky, gong to town soon and need one desperately.
I used to use Keratasse but can no longer afford this for everyday use.
So anything less than a tenner that's actually cream.
Tried the Boots one, doesn't work for me.

Many thanks

I have similar hair to you and I adore Cantu curling cream. Its very moisturising and got some hold but not sticky. Available in Boots and Superdrug and some supermarkets, about £8 a tub but often on offer

GypsyLee · 17/01/2021 10:50

Do you know I've tried Cantu products but have never seen the curling cream Grin
I tried the custard but it was too thick, I'll give it a go, cheers and easy thread.

Yeah, its called Coconut Curling Cream. Shovel onto soaking wet hair and then wrap hair in towel. I add a gel on top but you may be ok. Hope it goes well!

DD has type 3b hair, she uses Cantu curl activator. It doesn't weigh her hair down. It's available in Boots and is definitely under £10.

I like the Hersheson's Almost Everything Cream... it costs a tenner and lasts for ages.

I haven't had hair in a while but I'd avoid cantu. I think it's drying.

I don't mind boots curl cream but haven't used it for ages

There's one called Eco something in boots and that's good. They do an olive oil one and different options.

I also like the TIGI curls rock curl amplifier

My daughter has 3C hair and uses cantu kids curl creme. Her hair always looks great after using it.

SurfsUp79 · 17/01/2021 23:13

I have 3b/c hair and love Cantu curl cream.

My curls have never been better since using it. I only use a tiny bit though on each section. I section my hair and use ‘prayer hands’ to coat it. Then brush through to evenly coat each strand. Too much I find too heavy.

Also I use gel afterwards.

Did you get anything @GypsyLee
