Stylish practical rucksack

I want to cycle to work once the weather improves. I have a North Face rucksack for hiking but for work I'd really like something a bit less outdoorsy looking. However needs to be solid good quality design and fit my laptop and charger in it, a lunchbox and water bottle and a few bits of stationary. I like Scandinavian designs and bright colours...

I've fancied a Roka rucksack for ages (probably yellow or orange):

rokalondon.com/

Some of their designs are specifically intended to take a laptop and they have a great range of colours.

But I was lucky enough to find a Kipling one (silvery grey) at a knock-down price in TKMaxx not long ago, so that will do for me for now. (I took the gorilla off, if anyone was wondering - I thought it was a bit twee and a I have a relative who loves all gorilla memorabilia and could use it as a key-ring.)

Knomo is in TKMaxx and they've always impressed me. Loads of pockets and look smart.

I've got a Roka in yellow!
It's gorgeous

Thank you. ☺️ The roka are great... Lovely vibrant colours, just trying to work out which one is best for a laptop..

I use this one from John Lewis as a commuting laptop bag. It’s amazing quality leather for the price. The coloured ones are often in the sale half price as well!

I have the maya one
But they all fit laptops water bottle and other stuff
Well designed and some gorgeous colours and Vegan friendly if that’s important
And not expensive they often have lots of deals and bundles for their bags and their customer service is fabulous
And the best thing is that they have proper spaces for stuff so you won’t lose things

The Sydney one ticks all your boxes

The Sydney Backpack is a large, lightweight waterproof rucksack, perfect for travelling, work and school.
You have 2 compartments, and another zipped pocket
In the main compartment you have the following;

Padded laptop section - fits a 13.5" laptop
Insulated bottle holder which fits Mia Tui Water Bottle up to 500ml
Elasticated key clip
Phone and pen holder
Clear accessory bag
Turquoise interior unless stated
The 2nd compartment is fully insulated, perfect when you need to take lunch with you.

There are two side pockets, and the back and straps are fully padded making it a really comfortable bag to use.

Size: H40cm W32cm D12cm

Glad you like it - they are a bit addictive as a brand as they have a bag for most occasions
I reckon I have about 10 of their bags in different styles and colours 😂
They are so well designed with a space for everything so your not looking into an endless black whole for your stuff 😂

On the Facebook page they have a code for 20 percent off
Or you can get a work bundle which is a backpack and a lottie I think
The free delivery is really quick even at Christmas I got my bags within 3 days

depending on your commute and work "uniform", you may want to get side saddles. I found my back quite sweaty if I tried to carry a lot in my backpack when I cycled in

I agree. Backpacks are sweat inducing.
