Il Makiage Make Up

👋🏻 Hello MN'ers!

Has anyone tried Il Makiage make up, more specifically the foundation? I keep seeing adverts on social media and it looks amazing but I don't know of anyone that's tried it in real life so wanted opinions.

I usually use Estée Lauder Double Wear, is the coverage as good?

Thanks.

I tried it. Did the questionnaire and the foundation sent was terrible, way way too pale. I asked for a refund, which I got, but then they also credited my account with a voucher so I could try again! Brilliant service, but unfortunately the second foundation was no better. The colour was ok but the coverage was absolutely rubbish. If you're used to a high coverage foundation like DW I wouldn't think this is for you. I ticked high coverage on the questionnaire, too!

Disappointing, as I too was very impressed by the FB ads and wanted to love it!

Me the cover was good and it stayed on under a mask all day, but it oxidised really quickly on my very pale ghostly white skin it looked great in the morning by break time my not very tactful SEN1to1 pupil said "you're looking a bit ompaloopa Miss"
needless to say I won't be wearing it again.

I am in my sixties, it settled into lines and was very obvious I was wearing makeup. I prefer something more natural.

Thank you!

Good to hear the service is good. Sounds like it wouldn't be great for me (I also have ghostly pale skin!) .
