Best basic black non see through Leggings - mint velvet or love leggings?

Is there a holy grail of basic black non see through leggings that come up high enough to keep tummy covered but also don’t dig in around the middle?

I d heard good things about both mint velvet and love leggings but which ones are best?

Following! I also need them to be longish as I am 34" inside leg so don't want them riding halfway up my shins!

I like the Sainsbury's luxurious soft touch leggings, the right amount of thickness, high waist and thick waistband.
They are £10.

Love Leggings BUT they are short - even the long length.

Another vote for Sainsbury's- best ever.

I'm a short arse so can't comment on the length, but love leggings are good and when I got a pair with a hole their customer service was great.

Mint velvet are gorgeous and quite long, I'm a lanky 5'7" and they're plenty long enough.

I bought love leggings after a recommendation on here and I like them. I'm 5'9" and don't find them particularly short.

Uniqlo soft airsm leggins are thick and smooth really comfy. Also their legging trousers are nice and can be worn as trousers iykwim

I have some lovely dark green uniqlo velvet leggins dont think they're doing this year tho

I'm quite impressed with the Love Leggings tall. I have a pair of Mint Velvet which are too short and pretty thin

I’m also 5ft 9 and wonder whether I’ve got a dodgy pair @RupertRupertTheBear as I bought the tall length and mine sit about 2-3 inches above my ankle!

They definitely are the best leggings that I’ve bought in terms of thickness and comfort.

Tesco fleece lined tights. They are actually footless so they are essentially leggings. They are thick, warm and actually go to my ankle. They are amazing. I also have 34" inside leg.

Love Leggings are really good and definitely not see through. Mine do seem to have shrunk in the wash though

Agree . Love mine but they have shrunk which is handy as I have lost weight and I was going to buy a smaller size but don’t need to now :)

Matalan. Good quality, wash well, cheap. Not see through.

Following because I'm on the hunt for some too. I got a pair from love leggings which were nice and thick but the crotch seam gave out after the first wear! I complained and they sent a replacement but the second pair only lasted a couple of wears before the same thing happened.

Not cheap but I will never go back!! Spent a fortune on high street and supermarket ones and nothing compares to my Spanx leggings. I am only 5 foot so the petite option is amazing. I have 3 pairs - normal, leather look and camouflage. The camouflage ones are actually great for working out (pilates!). I got them from next but available on ASOS and Selfridges too.
