I’m 45, been wfh since last March - shielding part of it. I have started feeling pretty low since Christmas as I’m sure so many of us have.
It doesn’t help that I’ve let myself go as I never really go anywhere & haven’t been to office for months. I do however have the odd work zoom call & actually can’t bear seeing myself on screen.

I have put on a little weight & am untoned. My face seems to be dropping & i have dark areas under my eyes (although always had these but now look more tired). My skin is not bad but it lacks glow - I would love to glow!

I’ve Clinique lasting impact mascara for years as it never smudges on me but recently it’s been maki my eyes sore so would like to dry something else.

I have a drawer full of make up that I don’t wear. It’s either the wrong shade or I don’t know how to apply it well. I don’t like the feel of heavy foundation. I have EL tinted moisturiser which I like the feel of but I don’t think it does much for me.

I haven’t been wearing much make up at home but I thought if I start to make a bit more effort it might make me feel a bit better in myself?

So, can anyone of a similar age recommend me some brands/products that will give me a natural, healthy look? I don’t know where to start as there is so much choice these days.
My colouring is olivey skin, brown eyes, brown hair with outgrown blonde highlights that are long overdue (thank you to 2 lockdown cancelled appointments).

My clothes are also in a state which doesn’t help with my look... I feel scruffy...but one thing at a time.

Thanks for any suggestions.
