Composite bonding for teeth

Cosmetic dental chat (bit random!). Was wondering if anyone's had composite bonding to lengthen smaller teeth? My top lateral incisors are much smaller than my two front teeth and it's bothered me for decades. I finally got my teeth straightened last year and the next plan was to see a dentist about evening out the length. It's obviously now on hold due to covid so I thought I'd ask on here. Anyone who's had it done: does the bonding stain, and will it eventually look obvious? Also, I'm thinking my two front teeth are disproportionately long and may need filing down. Anyone had that done too? I'm not talking about the kind of filing people get before veneers, by the way - just taking a bit off the length...
