Hair bars.... shampoo/conditioner recommendations

Hi.

Has anyone used a shampoo bar or conditioner bar and can recommend?

I have to wash my hair every day, have fine straight hair, have highlights and usually use Faith in Nature which I buy in bulk but thinking of swapping to a bar - don't want to waste my money on a rubbish one...

Thanks

I liked Friendly Soap Company shampoo bar. I love their conditioner bar, it's amazing.

Bain and Savon coconut milk shampoo bar is fantastic.

I have been using this cheap and cheerful bar, each one lasts me about 4-5 months little soap company
My conditioner bar was a bit more pricey ethique does the job, smells amazing and one bar has lasted since December 19 and still only about half gone.
I have even converted dh, he has his own though.Grin

I have very thick and wiry hair, I find Little Eco shop good, they have a fairly wide range.

I used Lush shampoo bars in the past but I've ditched them because I don't like the company. I now use Bain and Savon ones, which are made fairly locally to me and are great. I have fine hair that needs washing every day too.

I can't get on with conditioner bars at all, so I use refillable conditioner from my local zero waste shop (which also sells the shampoo bars).

Bit late to the game but also want to recommend Bain & Savon plus Beauty Kubes are good too. Beauty Kubes are on the expensive side (especially if your hair is long and thick) so I use their intensive conditioner with Bain & Savon shampoo

I've some Ethique bars from an advent calendar to use - couple of questions to those who use bars successfully if you don't mind me crashing your thread OP ...

  1. Can anyone recommend some nice dishes, preferably lidded to store them in? Ideally nice looking but not expensive.
  1. How do you actually get the stuff properly onto your hair? Is there a technique?
  1. Will I look like Swampy after?

Would give the Alter/native ones a miss. Still feel sick from the smell and dirty feeling it left me with
