Slippers with support

Can anyone recommend me some slippers with good support. Or just a brand to try? I have bunionettes (ie the small bunions on the sides of the feet) and I think I need to have more supportive shoes. I spend a lot of time at home. Need some with indoor/outdoor soles. Thanks!

Fitflops

Not a popular option here but I like lined Crocs

Hotter?

Birkenstocks, the fleece lined ones

I was buying slipper boots with a good sole because I am susceptible to plantar fasciitis. I was having to replace these every 10 weeks or so and the slippers would lose their supportiveness. I wear slippers all the time I am out of bed.

I asked for Ugg boot slippers for Christmas. They definitely feel much more substantial and like they will last while being warm and comfy. I'm going to buy a pair of mule Uggs for the summer months as I wear slippers all year round.

The hotter ones were ugly 🙈 I'll have a look at birckenstocks.

Haven't heard of fitflops I'll look at those. I'm not sure the crocs would be supportive enough but I'll check them out. Thank you!

@TinyGringotts I have some Ugg's but I don't think they have enough arch support and I have the ankle ones so not great for around the house.

There's quite a few on Amazon that look good, I've ordered these, memory foam and a solid sole

Without a doubt you need something German- haflinger or Geisswein. Vionic are good too

HiPieInTheSky · 19/02/2021 11:15

Birkinstocks are fine I have many sandals which I love, but the fleece lined ones have not lasted well at all, the fleece flattened and worn very quickly, so much so there are patches on the sides.

Romika some style's are good but hit and miss, need to try them.

But I would go for Geisswein, not cheap but worth it, I am waiting for my size to come in for a clog, solid sole slipper (could not get my DH any for love nor money in the summer), good customer service as well.
