Gloves for tiny hands

absolutehush · 11/01/2021 14:43

I have a small but strong willed toddler who will not wear mittens as they restrict her in picking stuff up etc etc.

We have had several meltdowns in the park over cold hands and I think gloves would work much better!

But she has tiny hands! Really small for her age. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

I buy multi packs of cheap woolly mittens (sainsburys often do them in packs of four).

Cut the tip off one pair and take another pair in your pocket to put on/go over the top when fingers inevitably get cold.

I've tried all the options with fingers, I actually get a slight panicky feeling now at the thought of ever having to try and get a toddler to co-ordinate fingers into teeny tiny fingered gloves ever again.

Ds hated mittens, and I used wrist warmers instead. Gloves on teeny hands would be very restricting too due to the relative thickness between their fingers

Thanks both! I might see if fingerless mittens might work. A very valid point about the thickness of gloves being limiting, too.
