Please help me choose the correct size boxer shorts

I really fancy some of those tight, stretchy, men’s boxer shorts/trunks from Oddballs but I’m not sure what size would fit me. Bearing in mind the difference in body shape between most women and men, do I go for the men’s waist size that fits my hips? Although they do women’s boxers/trunks in the same materials they have a seam in the middle rather than a gusset and I find that so uncomfortable! My waist is 30" and hips 37-38" (until I lose the extra 2" of lockdown weight that is! 🙄) BTW. Thanks.

British Boxers do a similar style to Oddballs (plain not patterned though) for ladies. Theirs don't have the middle seam. I ordered some towards the end of last year and really like them. They were delivered quickly and are comfortable. Can't comment on longevity as I bought the multipack so each pair has only been washed a handful of times but so far so good

Thanks Chompy. They look nice but they'd drive me mad where the bum area doesn't sit under the bum crease, if you know what I mean. I'm after some that go about 4 inches down the thighs (front and back) like boxers rather than big pants.

Got you! I've just looked at oddballs again - at the pictures of them being worn, rather than just the picture of them unworn - and then looked at me in my pants 😁 and the oddballs are definitely quite a bit longer than mine. Good luck with the search

The boy shorts are long enough to cover your bum crease completely. 4.5 inch trunks are also a nice length if you want them a bit longer.

Thanks 🙂 These are the ones I have my eye on. They do them in women's but I hate the seam up the middle. Size small is waist 29/31", and medium is 32/34". Do you reckon a medium would be OK considering I have to factor in the lack of hips and bum on men's pants 🤔 Would men's boxers just be pretty much a straight shape from waist to hips? That's why I was wondering whether I'd have to really size up, buy the ones that have the waist size nearer my hip measurement.
