Hair help!

So, I have naturally mid-dark brown hair which now has a reasonable amount of grey in it. I had always dyed it a variety of shades of brown but then went much blonder in July with a full head of highlights. I followed that up with a half head at the end of September and have not managed to get to the hairdresser since! In November I tried to blend the roots by adding some mid-brown lowlights but these actually went a bit reddish near the roots.

So now I have a combination of blonde highlights, dark roots with grey and some reddish bits between the blonde and the roots.

With no hairdressing appointment in sight what can I do at home?

Should I just try to dye the whole think brown again? Or try and bleach it all? Or something else altogether?

Don’t bleach it
You need a brown color with cool tones in it to not have hot roots (the orangey tint)
Try do roots only to have brown that graduates to blonde mid and ends

I would call your salon or hairdresser to find out what they would recommend you do. Do you have their mobile number, or know them enough to find them on social media? Unfortunately, if someone plays around with at home dyes and bleaches, even if it goes well, it can be a nightmare for professionals to then deal with and create a good outcome for years down the line depending on the length of hair.
