Looking for smart excellent quality flattering navy leggings. Which online shops would be good for this?

I have a navy pair that I don’t exercise in. I wear them for day wear and have worn them to work under an oversized shirt. They are lululemon and I’m fairly certain they are the wonder trains. They are very simple and matte finish but thick and sculpting

J D Williams high waisted cotton leggings in navy.
Sainsbury's also do navy cotton leggings.

By the way, could someone please explain, what is this thing called exercise?! Never heard of it before!WinkGrin

I’m not sure what constitutes a flattering legging? I have nice navy ones from Asquith which makes yoga wear. I presume the capacity to survive yoga probably means they’re fit for a trip to Sainsbury’s. They’re thick enough ( although not exceptionally thick) and stay up.

I guess what I mean is leggings that don't show my thigh wobble.

Re Lululemon, what is their sizing like? I like the look of some of their trousers but oh my those prices!!

My go-to leggings are Mint Velvet. I find them very flattering as they are high waisted so stay up and hold everything in place whilst being comfortable. I'd never wear high waisted trousers or skirt but for some reason the leggings are perfect. They are really thick too. I have at least 6 pairs of MV leggings, maybe more Blush

@PeaceLoveAndCandy it’s American sizing. I’m a 10 in generous uk stores so I guess a 10/12. I bought them pre pandemic So the lady in the shop used her judgement and recommended an 8. Like you I was a bit shocked at the prices but I was quickly hooked and bought a second pair. £ per wear is very good for me. And yes they definitely help with the thigh wobble!

Love leggings ones are great. They do great jeggings too but they sell out almost instantly.

funtimefrank · 09/01/2021 10:58

If you are looking for the cheaper end of things, I got some of the Sainsbury's luxury ones people rave about on here. They seem to hold in my wobble and have a very solid waistband as well.

I'll be honest I don't love them because they are a bit too solid for me but for a normal person they'll likely be fine. Come in Navy and black and are a tenner.

I have navy leggings I'm happy with from M&S

If you can get them (they sell out fast, and Ive not checked if back in stock) then Sainsburys corduroy leggings are brill and can actually be worn without having to cover you bum

Now they are described as corduroy but they are just very thick leggings with a corded effect on them

M+S do some similar but not as nice a fit and without a 'seam' down the front
