I think I have either a fairly short neck or a short "back of my head" if that makes any sense, or maybe even both. Hats often seem too deep for me at the back, and because there's nowhere for them to go, they end up coming forward and being too low at the front. I can wear "shallow" hats like berets but they don't keep my ears warm! It's worse if I'm also wearing a thick scarf because the scarf actually seems to push the hat upwards. I had to take a woolly hat off this morning because it had popped up so much I felt like a Smurf.
Short of an aviator type hat with earflaps, I can't work out what I need. Any suggestions?
