Do you have a VCA item?

I am considering getting the MOP white gold Alhambra pendant. I’m worried I won’t be as obsessed with it in a few years and it’s £2.5k... a lot of money!

Do you have one? Is it worth it? Do they retain their value or is it just a brand?

I have a Sweet Alhambra pendant in white gold and diamonds and I love it.
I do believe they keep a fair amount of their value, check resale sites - HEWI etc.

It is just a brand - but one recognised for quality rather than just showiness so there is that.

I also have a WG Sweet Alhambra pendant but I rarely wear it. I loved it for about 12 months after I got it and then somehow stopped wearing it. I'm not really sure why. However, I do wear my Perlee clovers bracelet pretty much all the time and absolutely love it.

I don't have any jewellery by VCA but I think this is quite expensive for a plain mother of pearl pendant. The Amulette de Cartier pearl pendant is £1680.

However the VCA it's very beautiful and if you love the design and will wear it forever then it's good value but if you've got a budget of around £2000 their are some more spectacular pieces out there.

You could also try a less expensive similar vermeil piece and see if you like that for a year and upgrade to the VCA one.

I quite like this mother of pearl pendant Astley Clarke which is also a locket. Very similar in aesthetic but its vermeil.
