Do you have more than one ring for a particular finger?

DH bought me lovely handmade chunky silver ring a year or so ago that I wear on my right hand. I do love it, but I have also seen some stacking rings I'd like for that finger for my birthday.

Do you swap and change your rings like you would earrings?

I do! I chop and change my wedding and engagement rings too. Some days I'll wear a totally non wedding type ring on that finger.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/01/2021 17:15

Yeah I do on my right hand. I remove all my jewellery at night except for left hand rings and 1 bracelet, so when I get ready in the morning the right hand ring is one of the things I choose to wear that day.

Yup, I have a couple of sentimental ones which never move and the others just depend what I feel like wearing :)

JaceLancs · 07/01/2021 19:00

Yes - my middle finger on left hand I change frequently to match outfit or nail polish

pensivepigeon · 07/01/2021 19:07

I've lots of rings, some were presents some inherited. My rule of thumb is wear what goes with your outfit. I tone in colours and styles. My wedding rings are the only ones I wear everyday.

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 07/01/2021 19:23

I have eight fingers, two thumbs. And no rings.

Designateddiver · 07/01/2021 19:28

I wear 3 different rings on the same finger, I choose depending on occasion / clothes, am looking for another, always wear the same ring on other hand ( not a wedding / engagement one)

EagleFlight · 07/01/2021 19:30

I often wear no rings, sometimes my engagement and wedding rings, or sometimes my eternity ring. I never wear all three.

caperplips · 07/01/2021 19:31

I only ever wear my engagement and wedding ring on my left hand.
And I wear 1 ring on my ring finger of my right hand. But I have a lot of rings and I pick one depending on mood / outfit / occasion etc. I love changing that one around, but I definitely go through phases and have favourites!

Cocopogo · 07/01/2021 19:34

I was hoping to get a ring for Xmas off my bf, not engagement just a nice dress one but the hints fell on deaf ears so I’ve been looking at buying my own just can’t decide on one!

Icenii · 07/01/2021 19:36

I'm after some Alison Moore stacking rings!

I wear my wedding, engagement and eternity on my left.

I have a wedding ring, an engagement ring, and three eternity rings. All fit on my L or R ring fingers.

So I wear whichever I fancy, I always wear a ring on my wedding finger, but not necessarily my wedding ring.

Sosigsandwich · 07/01/2021 19:38

I only ever wear my engagement and wedding ring on my left hand but have lots of dress rings for my right hand. I find it very unusual that people have more than one engagement/wedding ring. Surely they're just rings you where on your wedding ring as they can't have the same sentimental value as the original one?

EssentiallyDelighted · 07/01/2021 19:42

I have various Alison Moore stacking rings for my right hand, I chop and change them from day to day. Only wear wedding and engagement on my left.

Icenii · 07/01/2021 19:51

Are they good Essentially? I though I could add to them! I was after the gold ones. My wedding ones are all platinum but I fancy a change after wearing my mums gold engagement ring.

I have quite a collection of silver rings and vary them according to my mood and outfits, apart from my wedding and engagement rings. I mostly wear rings on my right ring finger and sometimes right middle finger too, so yes, I have lots that fit them.

EssentiallyDelighted · 07/01/2021 20:30

Mine are silver as I don't really suit yellow gold but I do think the gold ones look lovely. Very hard to choose! I really like the gold andromeda ones. The only issue I have with my silver ones are that the stones are quite raised and mine have got a bit scuffed, I'm not very good at taking them off for housework, gardening etc. The andromeda stones are flatter so might be better in that respect.

Icenii · 07/01/2021 20:33

I was looking at two nebula and one andromeda. Wasn't going for the largest stone though.

EssentiallyDelighted · 07/01/2021 20:56

It's only the larger one that's properly scuffed of mine, it's just a bit less shiny than it used to be. I follow their FB pages and I've never seen a combination I didn't like TBH, don't think you can go wrong. Might put some more on my birthday wishlist 😀
