Help with Pores and Blackheads

(Regular poster, forgot my password and it wouldn't send me a link so have had to make new account and therefore can't yet post the photos I took)

I have LOADS of open pores/blackheads. I have oily, acne prone skin. My pores have been like this for longer than I can remember (I'm only 23).

Is there anyone who's done anything to ACTUALLY reduce these horrible black large pores? (A lady who did a microdermabrasion on me said they're a mixture of blackheads and pores)

I've tried the standard stuff such as T-Zone blackhead strips, blackhead scrubs etc.

I want success stories from people who have had genuinely massive differences from somethimg :)

Not sure if it should have worked as well as it did, but I used Savlon and was impressed with the result!

I haven't tried one by FB keeps spamming my newsfeed with ads for a blackhead hoover. Might be worth a look?

I use this

for my pores

And this every other night although you have to sleep on a towel as it's BRIGHT orange

I’ve had large saggy pores since puberty which have never gone away, but can be minimised. I use The Ordinary Lactic acid at night twice or three times weekly, and retinol the other nights (the Ordinary or Indeed labs retinol reface). Vitamin C serum in the mornings has also helped.

Scrubbing and using pore strips aren’t good options - a good chemical exfoliant like lactic or glycolic acid is probably your best bet x

I’ve been using Skin & Me and have had a very noticeable improvement with both of these issues. It has Azaelic acid and Niacinamide, not sure if one or both are responsible!

Things that helped me :

Going on the pill (a high oestrogen one) a not saying you should do this necessarily, but it helped me

Using glycolic and salicylic acid

Ensuring all toiletries and cosmetics are non comodegenic

I've also seen a blackhead sucker outer online !
