Has anyone used Trinny London make up?

I want to revamp my makeup routine, having been using the same old bb cream and a bit of mascara for the last 10 years.
Adverts for Trinny London miracle blur and bb serum keep popping up on my fb feed. It looks lovely but pretty expensive, so before I splash out, do any of you lovely lot have an opinion on this stuff? Thank you!

Sorry can't help but I also want to know the answer as I'm interested but it's quite pricy if it doesn't live up to expectations!

blisstwins · 05/01/2021 20:19

I bought some and it was just OK.

blisstwins · 05/01/2021 20:20

I think people rate elf putty primer, which is super inexpensive, btw.

LunaNorth · 05/01/2021 20:21

Mixed.

Miracle Blur is rubbish.

BFF cream is brilliant though - I buy two tubes at a time because I’m scared of running out. That and Just A Touch is all I wear, foundation-wise.

jeff1965 · 05/01/2021 22:03

@LunaNorth did you find their online colour match accurate? I'm interested in the BFF

SundayGirl86 · 05/01/2021 22:16

I wasn’t overly impressed with Miracle Blur either - Clarins do a far superior comparable product. I do love their Just a Touch foundation and eye/lip colours though. I’m a complete make up klutz and I can actually put this on and not look like a 5 year old has applied it. The online colour match worked for me too.

I have Phoebe and the BB serum. Love them both

I have some. It's fine but nothing special. There's nothing I'd rebut off it ran out including the Miracle Blur.
One thing that bugs me about it is that the pots don't screw together securely. It's a loose connection so they often work free in my handbag. It's a small point but when the USP of the brand is how conveniently portable it is it bugs me to be scrabbling around looking for the pot I need.

LesLavandes · 07/01/2021 11:42

I love the BFF

Melange99 · 07/01/2021 14:21

I have bought quite a few of the lip products, and a tube of BFF. A no from me. The textures of the lip products too dry, and the cream just meh. Expensive. Trinny seems to have really parched lips on her vlogs, I am wondering if it is because her products are all she uses.

AngelicaSchuylerAndHerSisters · 07/01/2021 21:46

I quite like miracle blur. My mum ordered it and thought it was useless so gave it to me. I have a few fine lines which it works a treat on.

doadeer · 07/01/2021 21:49

I have the BFF cream which is good but Erborian CC cream is better in my eyes. I use this as "foundation"

LunaNorth · 07/01/2021 21:57

I went a shade lighter on the BFF than they recommended. And on the BFF eye serum.

The Just A Touch was spot on though.

bigbeachedwales · 24/01/2021 15:50

Do any of you have any samples? I'd pay you!!
I'm really interested in the BFF but stuck between light and light/medium and between Jemima and Claire in the BFF serum. Not cheap so don't want to fork out on something not right.

Thismustbelove · 24/01/2021 19:44

The online match was terrible for me. When the products arrived, they didn’t suit and the lip products were so drying. I wouldn’t recommend.

I’m mid 40s so I am/should be her target market.

Ghostlyglow · 24/01/2021 20:28

I've just got BFF and a pot of lip2cheek. I really like them and will probably get more. I'm 55 and it was time to change my make up.

olivehater · 24/01/2021 20:33

BFF and BFF destress serum are my go to daily now. Can’t remember the last time I bothered with foundation. 2-3 pumps of BFF. Followed by 1-2 pumps of BFF destress.
I don’t really rate all the other pots of eye makeup, lip and cheek stuff if am honest. I have some but find it all a bit drying with not enough glide.

Puddlelane123 · 24/01/2021 20:34

I’m another who bought the Miracle Blur with high hopes and found it very lacking sadly.

olivehater · 24/01/2021 20:37

If it helps beached wage I used the light/medium on the BFF and had medium, lightly tanned skin.
I don’t really understand the categories on the match to me. No clue if am peaches and tan or light tan.

olivehater · 24/01/2021 20:38

Big beach wales - not beached wave!!!

PinkTonic · 24/01/2021 21:26

I love miracle blur personally. Haven’t tried anything else from the range and probably won’t.

LarryUnderwood · 24/01/2021 22:41

I got a whole load a few weeks ago. BFF cream, the BFF eye concealer thing, lip2cheek, eye colour and a highlighter thing. Its ok. That's it really. I'll use it (except the concealer, that was crap). But it's nothing special and definitely not worth the price. The packaging is handy.
