Nice jewellery for a 16th birthday?

Any good recommendations for a nice necklace for my daughters 16th please?
She wears silver. Has a nomination bracelet ( and I have a charm ordered for that)
I've looked on John Greed (I always buy charms for her nomination from there). Nothing is jumping out at me. She would love a Tiffany necklace but they're out of my price range. The chains on them look so so delicate as well.
Her style is quite laid back, she won't wear 'brands' and is quite traditional in her tastes
She won't entertain Pandora either for some reason. Budget is up to about £60. Any help gratefully received and appreciated :)

How about something like this www.mollybrownlondon.com/personalised-my-first-pearl-disc-necklace.html

My older daughter bought one of these necklaces for her sister. Apparently it's cool!
There's nice silver and diamond stuff in the £60 range.

I got a beautiful Swarovski necklace for my 16th. Silver with a purple stone. I still wear it on special occasions 13 years later.

The Andea range in John Lewis is great value and very good quality. DD (18yrs) has the large cut out heart and I'll always gets positive comments when she wears it.

I'm spoilt for choice now. Thank you all so much. I've had a sneaky look on Tiffany as well. I'm guessing id just be paying for the name?!. Not that I can stretch to one though! Thank you.

If she likes silver and is 16 she will probably like:

Tada and Toy
Jewellery Curated
Astrid & Miyu
Missoma

All of these are young, have a decent range in silver and under stated and within your budget.

semideponent · 05/01/2021 20:19

The Dinny Hall sale has some silver necklaces at around £60.

I got my SIL earrings from here and ordered myself a bracelet:

I loved it x

I really like the items from this website. The owner is a silversmith. She uses lab stones quite a bit. They are the same chemically as the real thing but are perfect. They are strong and keep their lustre, not like glass or crystal which deteriorate, dull and scratch. Some items are from real stones.

This pink lab sapphire pendant is pretty and very sparkly. There is also pretty jewellery using lab blue sapphires and rubies. She supplies the chain for the pendant.

Very funky!

Tulipvase · 20/01/2021 21:53

I bought my 15 year old a vintage cameo but that’s probably not to everyone’s taste.

Elouera · 20/01/2021 21:55

I personally avoid branded items and pandora also, so I can see why she wouldnt like them!

Warren James have some great value deals on. You could get a necklace and a pendant.

LeaveMyDamnJam · 20/01/2021 22:02

Look at independent jewellery makers.

I have bought from www.charlottebezzant.com

I would rather support people like her than multinationals.
