Looking for some warm touch screen gloves

After spending yet another hour in a freezing park I would be very grateful for any recommendations of warm touchscreen gloves. I need to be able to keep an eye on my work emails and my hands felt like they were going to drop off today when I took my gloves off!

I bought some lovely ones from ASOS a couple of years ago if that helps

I got some North Face ones for Christmas, the touch screen bits work well, mine were slightly too big and I wear a pair of thinner gloves under them - I've never had warmer hands!

I wouldn't recommend the Seasalt "Very Clever Gloves" - partially for the annoying name but also because they're not super warm and they seem to have gone quite baggy/loose (and I have quite large hands) so the touchscreen element doesn't work that well. I've been looking on Amazon and there are LOADS by random "Amazon brands" that get good reviews. I think getting them to fit well is key, otherwise the touchscreen bit isn't actually touching your finger properly and won't work!

Do these gloves work on screens at the self service tills in supermarkets?

I’m getting right pissed off that I have to take my plastic gloves off to touch screens to checkout my groceries.
Hardly a sensible thing to do during a pandemic. So touch screen gloves might be my answer?

Bravobravobravo · 06/01/2021 17:08

Thanks @Laquila I was looking at the seasalt ones but the reviews were very mixed. I agree fit is important which is why it is so annoying to buy them online but needs must!

@Softpebbles thanks, the north face ones look good. But pricey but I don’t mind paying more if they work well and keep me warm!

I've just got these from Amazon. They're toasty warm, with silicone grips and touch screen tips

I was recommended M and M Direct for my teenager and came across these on sale (the green ones have now sold out). I bought them as stocking filler type gifts for the men in my life. I havent had feedback yet if they are any good or even work but I was intrigued by the idea.

I was just looking at those ones @MsSquiz so I will give them a try, thank you! Prime delivery is a big bonus too!

@Bravobravobravo I think it’s wearing two thin pairs to trap the air that makes them so warm 😊

Just to update - I'd been trying to avoid Amazon but I've bought these knitted gloves with grip and I'm pleased with them:

They're very grippy and work well on touchscreen. They're not quite as warm as lined, thinsulate ski-type gloves would be but they do the job very well. Incidentally I wore my ski gloves (I think they're Reusch) on a snowy walk last week and was amazed at how warm my hands were - I'd forgotten what they were like! Hopeless for taking photos though 😁
