Never used one and hairdresser recommended for my dry/coarse winter hair. I have long thick hair with a tendency to get greasy if I use the wrong products.

I have no clue which one to try and they vary in price from £5 to £30+!

Suggestions please Grin

Not a hair oil suggestion , but I recommend running some conditioner through your hair after washing , conditioning and rinsing , then just leaving it in.

It helps my dry hair stay soft and bouncy.

Hair Xpertise Argan Oil - think it's about £13. It was recommended to me years ago when I had extensions (and was much younger!!) and I've never looked back. Have tried others but always go back to this, I'm always getting compliments on my shiny healthy hair. I even put a little bit on the ends when my hair is dry which I think scares some people as you'd think it'd go greasy but no, my hair just sucks it up! I think you'd be the same if your hair gets dry or course (my curly wavy hair can, especially when left to its own devices during lockdown!). But my usual routine is to put it on my damp ends after washing/before blow drying. Would highly recommend.

Another vote for hair xpertise Argon oil.
My hair is long and thick too and winter is awful for it!

I sleep with coconut oil on my hair once a week. I put one of those towelling wraps over the top. In the morning I just wash my hair as normal. It's absolutely fantastic and costs £1.50 a jar.
