Black pumice stone for hard feet - name?

Years ago following MN recommendation i bought a black pumice stone thing. It was square, you rubbed soap over it before using on your feet and it was absolutely brilliant. Can't remember the name of it (I've a feeling it was a surname with apostrophe s - like 'Smith's' although that could be a complete red herring). I've googled but nothing is coming up that I think is the right thing. I wanted to recommend it to a friend. Does anyone know what I'm talking about please?!

Chiropody sponge

Newtons foot therapy chiropody sponge? (although there is no apostrophe in Newtons)

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 05/01/2021 11:33

Yes I think it was Newtons (so the apostrophe was a red herring! )
Thank you x

Damn looks like that has been discontinued. Anyone who has used Newtons found anything as effective?

I just use a bog standard grey pumice stone in the shower and I have lovely soft feet. Ive has the same one for years now. It's more than likely that I bought it in boots.

Thank you @FlyingByTheSeatof . I had real problems with my feet a few years ago and the Newtons stone worked better than a regular pumice - it seemed a bit rougher. But not sure if my friend has tried a regular pumice so will suggest to her .

Was it the muthascrubber? muthascrubber.com/products/mutha-scrubber

I have this one and it's fab.

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 05/01/2021 22:24

@MsTimTam no, it was the Newtons which someone mentioned earlier - but that looks similar and good to know as it appears the Newtons has been discontinued
