Hi all
Thought I better start a separate thread

I stupidly bought this - no testers! - thinking I really liked it. It turns out I hate it and I got a big bottle!

Does anyone know which oils will make it less strong? Perhaps best to throw away?

Thank you.

What exactly did you buy? The essential oil?

AcornAutumn · 04/01/2021 10:42

Yes, the essential oil

Btw if i dont reply for a bit, i'll be back - on a care visit today.

This oil can be blended, some suggestions are bergamot, grapefruit, lavender and sandalwood. I would just pick on or two at the most and try a blend in a diffuser.

Can you get to a shop to smell them or are you buying online? If a shop then obviously you can buy a few / get advice but it is difficult online

I like the ylang scent in products eg Molton brown but haven't smelled the essential oil so not sure what it would go with

Thanks

I mixed it with lavender before i left the house

It now smells marginally less awful.

Perhaps I'll leave it on the balcony to see if it deters pigeons.

To poster mentioning testers, no shops here allow testers any more.

I really love it. I am wearing Songes by Annick Goutal today, one of the best ylang ylang scents.
