I have a pure white hair!

Super long and glistening white 😭
And a couple of white eyebrow hairs too!
I’m only 30!

I know I won’t be bothered to keep up with dyeing, does anyone know roughly how long it takes before the whites take over and I can’t hide the grey anymore?

Don't panic! Although I imagine it's different for everyone, I've been getting the odd white hair (never grey - wonder why?) since I was 17, and I'm 33 now... there are more of them now, but they're mostly behind my ears/under my hair, so they're not obvious - definitely still mostly brown!

My hair is also brown and on top of the hair so it’s very obvious!

Hair either has pigment or doesn't, and is therefore white - there's no such thing as a "grey" hair unless you dye it that colour. It will probably be yonks before they take over... I found my first one 30 years ago and I'm currently about 50/60% white.

I found my first when I was 27, I'm mid thirties now and I think I have 3 white hairs which I look out for and pluck out every couple of months. That's it 🤷‍♀️

So don't panic yet!

I found my first when I was 18. I have very dark brown hair. I’m 50 now and don’t dye my hair. I have a fair few more white hairs now but they are still mostly hidden so don’t panic yet.
