Hair bands for thick hair

Can anyone recommend decent hair bands for those with thick hair please? I have my hair in a pony tail sometimes and find the bands either don't hold the hair up or lose their effectiveness after a few uses. I don't want to keep buying ones then find they are no good!

I bought a set from Poundland, they're thicker than usual and have a good lifetime, Ive only bought new ones because I lost my previous ones.

I invested in some silk Slip brand ones. They are brilliant and don’t break your hair, still on the same ones from two years ago.

I use these for my thick hair. Cheap but very effective!

My hair is really think and I like the plastic curly wurly ones. I was intrigued and didn’t think they’d hold my hair but they’re great, and don’t hold it too tightly either so I don’t get a headache.

I agree with the plastic curly ones. They hold thick hair well and don’t leave any bumps when you pull them out.

Thanks for the replies, I'll check them out.

I just use bog standard Tescos ones, but i use two together. They work better and last longer like that with very thick hair.

I have thick hair and definitely recommend invisabobbles. When they have stretched put them in a mug of just boiled water for a while and they will return to their original shape.

NaughtyNell · 09/01/2021 07:31

Invisabobble but the extra strength ones

THATbasicSNOWFLAKE · 09/01/2021 07:33

Yes the strong invisibobbles are best
