FFS I need a moisturiser for spotty yet ageing skin

Please help! I need a night cream that won't break me out/clog my pores but WILL help my poor ageing face. Late 30s. My skin is kind of dry and dehydrated on my cheeks, shiny on my nose and spotty on my chin. Yes it's delightful. Please help. I recently tried Dr Jart ceramidin cream but clogged up my face no end. TIA

I really wanted to love the Biore watery essence but it made my face sting and go dry- think it has quite high alcohol content.

I love frezyderm as well I use the moisturizer plus cream never get breakouts from this ever.

Don't think anyone has mentioned it yet, but the Cetaphil spf 50 is great for my skin (which is the same as yours). A lot of the others mentioned are too heavy for my skin and either feel greasy or result in spots. This one is cheap as chips and available in the supermarket

I have similar skin type and use the Cerave Moisturising Lotion, the big bottle with a pump not the ones designed specifically for the face. This has the same lightweight texture as the night version but without nicianmide which is an ingredient that breaks out my skin! I have tried a lot of different ones and keep coming back to this.

I use that too, Light. It's brilliant stuff. And it barely costs anything compared to other products

This!
I also think you are overloading your skin. Avene products are so natural and non irritating. I think also you need to go back to basics. The Irish dry products did nothing for me. I use Avene, they have a fab aqua gel for night time which can be left in as a mask. I also use Image Cleansers (ormedic) and their hyaurolonic filler serum.

Thank you - actually funnily enough I ended up buying an Avene cream before you posted that, it's similar - cleanance hydra soothing cream for blemish prone skin left dry by treatments. I really like it so far, it's spotting but somehow doesn't feel greasy. I'll perhaps check out the cleansers from their range that other have mentioned.

I also got a Vichy spot treatment which seems to be helping.

Thanks ask to everyone who suggested I dial back the actives. I've cut out vit c for now and have reduce my retinol to twice a week. And I am trying to wear spf more often...
