Sweaty Betty Sizing?

Just looking for sizing advice from anyone with leggings. I went by the size guide and ordered two pairs of leggings (everyday and power) in an XS (I’m an 8 in most brands). They’ve arrived and fit everywhere but the crotch area is very tight and not the most comfortable Blush. No muffin top and legs are fine and nowhere looks stretched. So I’m not sure if they are too tight and if I should order in a small or if it’s just that they don’t work on me. I don’t really want to be returning and ordering again if there’s a big difference in sizes as they will be too big everywhere else. Do they stretch at all? I don’t normally wear leggings so I’m not sure what to expect!

Any advice before I send them back 😊?

If you are an 8 then You'd be an xs so maybe you are pulling them up too high?

I don’t think a bigger size would work for you. I find they’re generally true to size bordering on slightly generous. I don’t find my power leggings overly tight in the crotch area, I’ve not tried the everyday ones though.

I'm a 10 and wear a small. I wouldn't size up. I have both styles, I find the everyday very relaxed. Size up might be too big. Power, try a few squats. If they don't relax then they won't and are probably just not for you.
M&S do some goodmove ones not dissimilar, slightly more give in them and have pockets. Might be an option.

Thanks for the replies, I actually forgot to check back Blush. I don’t think I’m pulling them up too high, I was trying not to. It’s the everyday and the power I ordered. Sounds like a bad idea to size up. I’ll try them on tomorrow again and do a few squats. I’d actually seen the Goodmove stuff and thought some of it was lovely so I’ll have another look. Sounds like the SB ones mightn’t be for me, it’s a pain, I’d been eyeing them up for ages.

For anyone reading this who is a size 16 then get an XL, 14 L, 12 M, 10 S

I absolutely love my power leggings (size 10 - small) and they’re definitely the pairs that I reach for most often. But, I agree with Bloodhoundgang - I also have some from M&S which are less than half the price, and in all honesty, pretty comparable. I‘m not a fan of M&S stuff generally (in fact, I don’t buy anything else from them) but their sportswear is really great.

thanks all, i went into Marks at lunchtime to get some dinner supplies. They had the Goodmove range but it was all cordoned off so I'll look online. It looked nice from a distance!
