I tried to find a woolen jumper or at least some wool ( on line obviously)....nothing. In despair.

V thin thermals under your ordinary clothes? Uniqlo or M&S or silk from Patra.

DameCelia · 03/01/2021 12:01

Sorry, I didn't really answer your question!
What price range are you looking at?
Celtic & Co and Toast have proper wool jumpers but ££££.
Wool is expensive I'm afraid.

Have you tried Uniqlo? I’m wearing a pure wool jumper from there with their heatech layer and am toasty warm.

RacheyCat · 03/01/2021 13:25

Uniqlo for sure. I find the men's ones are often more interesting.

randomer · 03/01/2021 15:20

@DameCelia, lovely stuff but out of my reach.

What about Marks. They do some nice jumpers. Casmerino. With a couple of layers.

Fairyliz · 03/01/2021 16:59

Have you tried Marks men’s wool jumpers? Thicker and warmer than the women’s.
I’m a size 12 and buy a small in men’s.

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 03/01/2021 17:06

Cut price cashmere from the John Lewis sale and merino or lambswool from Uniqlo, if by stylish you mean simple good quality styles (round or polo neck) in a range of colours. LaRedoute also had half price cashmere in their sale, though not so keen on the colours they had.

Bunnyteam · 03/01/2021 20:46

Uniqlo or Cos

Happymum12345 · 03/01/2021 23:55

I layer up merino jumpers-base one from mountain warehouse and gap or cos one on top. They all have sales on.

Cherryup · 04/01/2021 07:10

I've found some wool or at least a decent percentage wool mix at Gap, Hush, Mint Velvet. All have good sales on atm.

Divebar · 04/01/2021 07:22

www.woolovers.com/

I’m surprised you can’t find anything - particularly at places like Uniqlo as already discussed but have a look at Woolovers.

randomer · 04/01/2021 13:43

I have ordered something from Oxfam thanks. Woolovers used to be good but now I believe made in China?
