Broken blood vessels and laser treatment

I'm only 34 but have broken blood vessels on my upper chest around the collar bones and it's horrible. :-( I'm very pale with very thin skin, I asked my GP about it and she ruled out liver problems and said she suspected it was as a result of the pill (not sure why).

Researching i see that some kind of laser treatment (pulse dye) can solve this. I need to research how this works exactly but it seems like it's very effective.

Has anyone here done this or have any insights into how it works? I'm worried that my skin is so pale and thin that it could just....cause some kind of damage? What do you think? It would be a nightmare to try and correct this and end up with a bigger mess than before.

It's not the biggest problem in the world but it is definitely noticeable, I've been asked why I have "scratches" and it is fairly confidence wrecking. In the summer I can apply a little fake tan to hide it somewhat but otherwise I'm not really interested in using foundation to hide it. I also have a few on my hands where again the skin is really thin.

Any experiences I'd love to hear them!
