I've decided to buy a pair of these but the variety and sizing is confusing!

I'm a size 10 most places, 8 if sizing is generous. 5'3", I'd like them ankle length so should I get the cropped.

What size/length would you go for?

Thanks 😊

I’ve just got a pair. A size 12/14, 5.1 and got a medium. They are very cosy but wish I’d gone up a size . You might be okay with the cropped. How about ordering a few sizes and trying them all on? You can then see how they look and feel on?!
If bank balance allows and you have time to return

I'm 5'9 and a size 12 and I take a medium. The band on the cropped Garys is just below the knee on me.

I am the same size but a little bit taller than you. I wear a small in the cropped or a small short in the “normal” Gary’s. Overall I prefer the shape of the cropped ones as they just seem to hang better on me. They are just above my ankle.

I am a size 8/10 but with generous thighs and a small waist! Small in Sweaty Betty has fitted me with every pair of leggings I have bought from them

Madbengalmum · 02/01/2021 15:56

I would go for a small, medium sounds like it would be too big.

Thanks so much everyone, I'm going to go for the small, short regular. Fingers crossed!

Hoping to jump on this thread if that's ok. Are these quite narrow legged? I don't want baggy. I'm a size 14 and and 5' 7".

Also, are these just for lounging or does anyone actually do yoga in them? I usually wear leggings for yoga... 🤔

Thanks!

@curlytops21 I'd say they are fairly narrow cut. I found the ankle cuffs too baggy though. I've just sent back a pair of the full length ones because they were too short and the fabric felt a bit cheap for something so ££. I'm size 14, 5'9" and wear size L in SB if that helps.

On the other hand I already have the cropped version and absolutely love them, the fabric is super soft and comfy. I use them for pilates and they stay put the whole time, very pleased with them.

Thanks so much for the advice. That definitely helps. Just need to decide whether to go full length or cropped I guess!

Are the fleece joggers or yoga pants nicer?

AsCoolAsKimDeal · 16/05/2021 18:13

The yoga pants are nicer @fishonabicycle

I have too many pairs. I much prefer the cropped, the longer ankle cuff is much more flattering and they look as if they are supposed to be cropped rather than too short. I’m a size 8-10, (well I was I think I’m a solid 10 post lockdown) and the S is a good fit.
