Hi, please bear with me I'm new to this

I don't particularly have a facial skincare routine, not for lack of wanting one but more for lack of understanding where to start

I have oily skin, and have always suffered with acne and breakouts

Can someone please recommend me a skincare routine, brands etc. Pretty simple would be preferred
From what I've gathered the basics are
Cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser
Is there anything else I should be doing?

Just looking for any brand recommendations, products that you've found to be good or bad, literally any information is appreciated

❤️ thank you!

Pop onto the inkey list website and put in your requirements on the questionnaire and it tells you exactly what products you need and how to use them. It's brilliant. You don't have to use the inkey list products but the questionnaire will tell you what ingredients you need to look for in brands you want to use. Hope this helps.

The ordinary might be a good place to start too. I have oily skin and like a gel cleanser mostly, the glycolic toner is ok, niacinimide and i like a water type moisturiser like neautrogena

Drs for the acne first.

Cleanser, I don’t think it matters if you use a cleansing milk or foaming as long as you massage it for a few minutes and take it off with a warm wrung out fresh flannel.

Toner, serum, moisturiser I don’t generally bother except for a tiny amount on my cheek bones for my eye area to drink up.

I do use retinol at night and sunblock every day. I use the ordinary 0.2% retinol and Superdrug solait spf 50 sunblock.
