Spf advice

I keep on reading to use a separate spf not in the moisturizer - what does this mean exactly? Any recommendations? Thanks!

It means a proper sunblock like you’d use on holiday. Most companies do a facial sun block spf 30 or higher.

I use Superdrug’s solait because the big brands still test on animals.

I use the Olay whip spf30.

I use the same sunblock, really good and cheap too.

Whilst not cheap, this is supposed to be good if you have issues with oily skin. I use their regular sunblock as it’s the only thing that doesn’t bring bring me out in huge greasy spots.

It is recommended to use a separate SPF because to get the same protection from a moisturiser or makeup would require a very large amount of product. SPF in beauty products give people a false sense of security, you really are not protected adequately by the amount of SPF in them.

Thanks. I live abroad and can't get superdrug products but I know what I'm looking for now. For some reason I thought suncream and spf were 2 different things.
