I was given a MV gift voucher for Christmas. I'm not a huge fan of their clothes but I do want a light coloured bag for Spring/Summer and saw this one in the sale. I think I like it. Any opinions welcome. Smile

I really dislike the zips too OP... the shape is nice and a good size. But those zips aren’t good in my view...

I'm ok with the zips but not the studs (and I'm an 80s chick!).
My bigger concern would be quality and longevity. I bought a lovely hobo type bag from MV, cost iirc around £250, and the strap snapped within 5 months of purchase. With that in mind you may want to wait until you can see and feel their bags 'in the flesh'.

That's interesting Martini. I went off Fiorelli bags for the same reason. Bought a tote bag, at Cheshire Oaks outlet. Not leather, but could have had leather for the price tbh. Within about 2 months the handles had cracked and it just looked awful. Couldn't be bothered to return to the Oaks, too far, so reluctantly wrote it off, but held a grudge, and wouldn't risk another one.

Sorry, I'm not keen. I used to work in a bag store. This would definitely end up in the sale. Not defined and quite a lot of conflicting styles in one bag. Colour (classic), zips (80s biker), shape (not on trend or classic) fussy strap.

I like it. My MV bag is super soft leather - much better quality than my designer bags. But I love 80’s style stuff.

Well I've ignored most of the replies and ordered it. Grin I'll post a picture when it arrives if I decide to keep it. In reply to the suggestions for shoes/boots I really don't need any more, although it's tempting! I do need a bag though.

It looks like it was a lovely bag before they added all the zips and studs. It's too fussy for me, even though it looks like it's good quality.

I love it. Ive seen it in irl too. I think you'll be pleased with it when it arrives. It's lovely soft leather.

No, I don’t like it either, it looks quite dated. This one is much better but I guess that’s reflected in the price.
