Skin Care Routine & The Ordinary

Hi MN.
I'm 40 and have just started Tret at 0.025 with Dermatica. I use cerave cleanser, cerave moisturiser and LRP Cicaplast if needed.
I've read so many different posts on tret and skin care stuff.
I'm putting a Boots order in later and have been looking at the Ordinary stuff.
Are there any recommendations for products, and anything else I can add into my routine? (I do use an SPF in the mornings)
Thanks!

I really like the Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid. Just after cleansing while face is still wet, a few drops helps with hydration.

I also like their plant squalane.

I have recently started Tret 0.025 with dermatica too so interested to hear of any other recommendations. I've found I need to buffer by moisturising before Tret application, and not after at all. Moisturising after Tret (even an hour after) was seriously irritating my skin!

I haven't used it yet but l intend to buy the Aha peeling solution, many beauty vloggers swear by it. It's bright red though!

I've been buffering too with tret at the moment, again only before applying. No purge as yet, but a bit of dry flaking skin around my chin though, so I clearly need some more moisture in there somewhere!

I'll have to have a look at that and see the reviews!

Not a The Ordinary product, but seriously consider Nip & Fab Exfoliate toner (Extreme 6%). It’s amazing.

The Ordinary peeling solution is fantastic, my skin is so much better when I use it regularly. I also like their Squalane cleanser, and I think their serum foundation is fantastic. The jury is out on their other products, I have Buffet and the 2% retinoid stuff but not sure I would buy those again. I don't like their primers.

Ok ladies, I've decided to join you on the Dermatica journey! Grin I'm 38 with pigmentation issues (brought on by first pregnancy), acne prone, psoriasis, and obviously aging. Yes I'm a mess. haha.
