Beauty Pie must haves

I want to close my account for a while but use up my remaining limit before I do - so what should I buy?

I do love the Super Healthy Skin serum but already have two stocked.

Don’t like the body polishes or scrubs for the price (happy enough with Rituals for around the same cost).

Maybe a night cream as I seem to be getting low?

Probably don’t need any make up, but if there’s a recommendation I might consider that.

Any must haves?

I really like the Japan Fusion cleanser and serum. The eyeshadow sticks are pretty good. I just did the same spent my credit and closed my account for 6 months.

I second the eyeshadow sticks and JF cleanser and serum. I haven't ordered since the beginning of the year and need to use up my allowance too Their prices have gone up so much that they are no longer the bargain they were when I joined nearly four years ago.

Under eye genius is fab as an eye shadow base, as are eye shadow sticks, also love hair repair treatment, jeju cleanser & daily moisturiser..

Nail polish is good too..

Yes, agree with the price increase. It doesn’t feel as good value as it once did, especially with lots of other cheaper alternatives on the market right now.

Absolutely love the JF cleanser though. Will add another of those. Not tried the serum though as I already have the SHS and one of the glow ones - no real harm in trying another.

Already have two of their eyeshadow sticks - not sure if there’s another colour I’d like but I might look. I’ve not tried their hair products so I will give the treatment ago. Thinking about the foot mask too - has anyone tried that?

One Powder Wonder. ANd the J-Fusion hydrating toner.

I haven't bought any beauty stuff for ages but I'm addicted to the candles. The Freesia one, the candle bar mini set, and I also love the mandarin perfume.

TrialOfStyle · 31/12/2020 17:54

The perfumes are very lovely, but I don’t find them long lasting. I tend to use them as home sprays rather than wear (which I do think is really good value for the amount you get). I will try a candle though as the scents are really nice.

I also really like their tinted moisturiser but it’s a bit oily so use the one powder over the top.

If you have enough allowance and obviously depending on your age and whether or not you need it, the Super Retinol range is really excellent. I use the Serum and the Moisturiser at least 5 nights per week and over the last 3 months or so have really noticed a difference in my skin texture and smoothness. I can also see a subtle improvement in the fine lines, particularly around my nose/mouth. I have just added the Retinol eye serum too to see if I can get the same improvement to my crows feet.

If retinol isn't your thing, or you are already using another brand or Tret then I also really recommend the ceramide capsules for barrier repair and also the Flash Face Lift superdrops combined with the Uber Youth re-elastic serum in the mornings for really plumping out your skin.

The other option would be to sell your remaining allowance on one of the Facebook Sell/Trade/Swap groups. I bought some additional allowance from a member who was closing her account the month after I joined Beauty Pie to enable me to get enough products to put together a whole routine and it was easy and worked well.

I love the fruitenzyme exfoliate- a mix of chemical and physical exfoliant

Sammysquiz · 01/01/2021 09:48

I love the JF cleanser too but when it was out of stock for ages I bought a Superdrug one which was similar but a fraction of the price & it’s much better than the JF one!

I like the Beauty Pieface SPF cream - it’s really light.

There’s a sample set of the perfumes which I’m enjoying using. Also a sample set of lots of lipsticks which is a good way to try colours before you buy.

The SPF 30 is excellent. I haven't tried the SPF 50 yet. I didn't like the tinted moisturiser. Also, the tinted primer had a terrible scent. The One powder wonder and the contour gel in a tube are great.
