Just that really! Just out of interest.

On clothes and shoes? About £5 per month. On plants and gardening stuff? Considerably more 😁

I have £200 a month to spend on myself, it's almost always on clothes and beauty, I rarely save it lol.

WonderfulWinde · 31/12/2020 17:12

This year I brought 2 jumpers and a rain coat (approximately £80) and that was only because I was going away for a week.

I rarely buy clothes.

lissie123 · 31/12/2020 17:15

Too much this year. Lost weight and my clothes didn’t fit. But don’t spend on takeaways, holidays, fuel, haircuts beauty treatments etc

Houseplantmad · 31/12/2020 17:20

Around £100 per month although a good proportion of that in charity shops. I have bought some amazing cashmere, leather etc. at charity shops.
This year I intend to spend far less and wear more of the clothes I have, as I have more than enough now. .

Faith50 · 31/12/2020 17:29

In 2020 I spent roughly £400 on clothes, footwear, underwear, fashion accessories. I have probably spent another £150 on make up, nail polish, hair products.
Not bad at all!

Faith50 · 31/12/2020 17:32

vivienne Like you I buy in spurts rather than monthly.

Houseplantmad Like you I plan to wear what I have which is more than enough. I also plan to spend more on quality pieces and avoid quick fashion.

Thankssomuch · 31/12/2020 17:34

I may spend £400 in one month and considerably less in another.

Honestly too much.

Probably around 1000 pcm and half of it is rubbish. Or definitely doesn’t make me feel as good as it should for the price.

I’ve set myself a no clothes/makeup spend challenge until end of March.

PegasusReturns · 31/12/2020 20:17

@Houseplantmad I’m with you.

I’ll but a few quality bits later in the year but I really want to spend far less and wear more of the clothes I have.

lindyloo57 · 31/12/2020 20:25

I have spent around £4oo this year, half of what I usually spend, no holidays no hair cuts, I trim my own hair, have been for two years now, I have too many clothes, I'm going to do a itemised list of every thing I own to shock me into not buying many clothes next year, I would love to do a no spend year, but I know I couldn't do it.

EssexLioness · 31/12/2020 21:14

Spent £750 this year in total

FippertyGibbett · 31/12/2020 21:16

Very little. I only buy what I need.
And sometimes I don’t even buy that !

woodhill · 31/12/2020 21:21

I have t bought too much this year.

I have had a little splurge in the sales.

Yes good idea to keep a Spend diary

woodhill · 31/12/2020 21:22
