Best Lip Balm/Treatment

I have really dry lips, partly due to not drinking enough which I am trying to work on. I have used and not been impressed with EOS and Vaseline. Longtime favourite is Neutrogena Norwegian Formula. What lip balms/treatments are best for very very chapped lips?

Papaw. It’s amazing.

Nuxe is wonderful but please try Burt’s Bees- genuinely lovely and moisturising. The nuxe for me is more of a barrier balm that I use at night.

Definitely laneige lip sleep mask (you can get it from yesstyle) - my daughters lips are super dry unless she uses this

Nice is lovely. Like a paste rather than oil or cream.

Rainydays200 · 30/12/2020 23:33

I use glycerine (bought a big bottle on Amazon) at night and it’s really helped my lips.

Icanseewhyichangednyusername · 30/12/2020 23:36

@Rainydays200 is glycerine really sticky? I’ve had it on my face in a Beaty treatment before and it was like honey!

Weleda Everon Lip Balm

Clinique moisture surge lip balm is the best I’ve tried.
Vaseline is ok for protecting your lips but it doesn’t actually treat then once you’ve got to the point if soreness.

I've tried loads of all different price ranges and I always go back to Burt's Bees. I get the one in the all yellow packaging that's a bit minty. If I put it on at bed time my lips are always lovely and smooth by morning and the mintyness soothes them if they're a bit sore.

Burt’s bees minty for me too!

Carmex always does the trick for me!

The original isn't that nice but they have a cherry and watermelon flavour which is delicious!

Sold most places; Boots, Superdrug, Most supermarkets and under £3 a pot

O'keefes is great

Carmex works brilliantly for DS who gets dry lips- the tube not the pot. Personally I always go back to Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, you get little pots like the Vaseline pots now too as I suppose people realise how good it is for lips.

Can’t believe no one has mentioned it. Eucerin - soothing skin balm.Non greasy, absorbs quickly and lasts. I’ve tried everything and this is the best by miles.

I have the lips from hell too.

Vaseline is useless for me.

I rotate between Lanolips and Clarins (in blue tube). I wear MAC lipglass lip gloss as I find lipsticks just too drying.
