This dress- what footwear?

Boden Layla dress

I've got this dress but not worn it due to lockdown. I'm wondering if it would look ok with ankle boots or if I wore it in spring, what kind of shoes? I have nothing to go with it (footwear.)

It's the sort of dress I'd wear for going out to dinner.

I have this in a print, and wear with Doc Martens, I'd say it'd go with pretty much anything, it depends if you're a dressy person or not really., but I have some chunky shoes I also wear with it. I'm not a dainty/pretty/heels sort of person.

Then in spring/summer - with ballet flats

I have it in teal/green. Have worn with thick tights and ankle boots with woollen coat. Think it will be nice with flats too in the spring.
