Coat - Ted Baker or Jigsaw

I want to treat myself to a good, classic coat in the sale.

I have my eye on one in jigsaw and a few in ted baker. Never shopped in TB so not sure if it's much of a classic brand really. Similar one in reiss is sold out.

I see the last 3 years working towards a big career change, finally done it this year so I feel like showing up in a smart classic coat will make me (in my head) feel like I fit the role - I've generally had Jobs with casual dress...

Or any other suggestions? I have about £200 to spend

Jaeger coats are good quality and nice designs too.

I have a lovely Ted baker coat but you could also look in Reiss or try a multi brand retailer like John Lewis

Surely it's more about liking the actual coat than the brand

I've got a Ted baker coat. I love it. It feels expensive and excellent quality. I only wear it on special occasions!

Bought a Ted Baker coat on Black Friday. TB not usually my style but the coat is stunning and fairly understated. It is quite a fitted/shaped look though. The trend is for oversized but I look fat rather than cool in oversized

I have a Ted Baker coat (I think they call them wool wrap coats? They bring them out every year in lots of colours). Highly recommend, beautiful coat that has held up well.

Ted Baker wouldn't reduce in January. This is the end of season sale. Also, you're unlikely to get a 50% discount on the coats as they're classics. I would use the voucher if I was you

Do you have a designer outlet near you? I got mine from there. They change something minor eg the button each time. It was only a small discount and you have to be lucky to find the colour and size.

They won't ever got into normal sale. I'd use your discount voucher. And then it'll arrive and you'll just want to wear it all the time. It's a classic shape, it won't date.

TB do discounts from time to time. I got 30% off mine but not sure when - end of season maybe

TB will not date, they are classic coats

Very commonplace in my work environment.
I second Jaeger or Hobbs if you want a quality wool coat and if chosen carefully some of the Boden ones are well made.

It's the short version of the wrap coat (rosses I think it's called) as I'm in 5 ft. Can't wait for it to arrive!!
