If ever anything summed up the glamour of a modern royal life, it's Anne talking about domestic refuse by a bin truck.

Princess Anne at the bin lorry depot is probably my best ever royal engagement.

I can't imagine Kate at the opening of a sewerage works or a cement factory, but Princess Anne seems to relish these gigs, and deals with them with brisk, good-humoured efficiency. She really is admirable.

I just love the fact that it's a waste depot in Cambridgeshire.
To be hilarious I would have sent the Cambridge's or sent Anne to Lytham St Anne's.

It does feel like very slowly/tentatively things are starting on the road to get back to normality what with the Royal visits.
At some point our our threads are going to start flying again.

Princess Anne visited my region a couple of years ago and visited a new drainage project. She talked drains for an hour and a half. The organisers asked beforehand if they needed to provide her with lunch and her office said "not necessary".

I watched a series on local lighthouses, our local television station has a worthy documentary slot at teatime on Sunday. One highlight was the visit by Princess Anne and her husband who are very keen on lighthouses. She could have her own series, like Auntie Mabel, visiting important but overlooked facilities.
And I'd like to see how she does her hair.

I'm pretty sure I read an interview with PA recently where she said she never eats lunch as she thinks it's 'unnecessary'!

I liked Camilla's blue and white (colours of the Greek flag) outfit for her arrival in Athens to celebrate two hundred years of Greek independence from the Ottoman Empire.

The dress was by Fiona Clare, and the cape by Anna Valentine, I thought the whole outfit had a fun Springtime vibe, especially the skirt. which was something a bit different for Camilla.

I'm disappointed C&C went to Greece on a non essential trip, so won't comment on Camilla's attire.
Our Prime Minister did not go to US to meet the new President on the traditional St.Patrick's Day visit. I know he may not have got an invite this year. It's a big thing that our leader has access to the leader of the free world every year. but it would have gone down like a lead balloon here in Ireland.

Love Leti's dress! I feel like she's worn that one before.

I have no idea why the government would think it's a good idea for Chas and Cam's visit to Greece. It's just bonkers, but obviously serving a higher political purpose that us plebs don't need to know about. Terrible, terrible optics.

However, I do like some of her outfits. I liked her cape on arrival and the navy blue number.

I like that shade of soft powder blue that Camilla is wearing in Athens, and I think it suits her. But I don't especially like the overall style of the outfit, it's a bit too Liz Taylor's Kaftan for my tastes.

I can appreciate why it was decided that their trip should go ahead, because Britain was involved in the war for Greek independence, the London conference etc, and also Prince Philip's Greek heritage must have been an influence, amongst other things.

I feel grumpy about C&C Greece visit. I just think it just isn't appropriate to fly abroad right now and it could have been done virtually, with a promise to follow up when lockdown is lifted.
Also don't want to be lectured about carbon footprints by people who use planes like the bus.
On the clothes front, I think Camilla looks fabulous in that light blue. I think she's maybe a spring, suiting soft blues and soft pinks?

Yes Micheal Martin was dolled up in very green tie and not nearly enough make up. He looked like the ghost of Paddy’s Day Past on a massive screen behind Joe Biden’s head. I don’t know if he has had the jab yet. There would have been absolute outrage here if he had gone to the US. I can’t see why C&C went on this trip. I’d say the Greeks could have coped without them for this year.
In saying that not averse to these new pictures coming our way, thanks @TracyBeakerSoYeah! The young Euro royals seem to ease into their roles much more easily than the British royals who seem to wear their resentment much more openly. You can’t imagine CPV doing an Oprah interview. And she would have lots to talk about. She married her personal trainer! That was even more of a departure from the norms than Harry and MM

We'll agree to disagree re the Greek trip.
I know the premise of this thread is Royal Style and apologies for my mentioning it but I felt too annoyed not to.
So many of us have lost loved ones this past year, caught Covid, didn't visit loved ones, saw our loved ones suffer both physically and mentally, lost jobs, suffered huge financial loss, home schooled, did our bit for the common good.

Agreed lady.
