I agree Horsemad, it's very far from my "family style" too. I'm less surprised by them doing it then I am at it going up for the public to see tbh, it feels very private to me.

I know what you mean Mother about baby Charles of Luxembourg being absolutely smooshable. You could imagine him in a Johnson's baby bath advert as he's so cute & cuddly.

Baby Charles is a very handsome little chap, and so clever of him to grow all those lovely teeth. His parents continue to look utterly delighted with him, I'm very happy for them, it melts my heart a bit.

Banivani, I'm not sure about sharing the Diana cards either. It wouldn't be a choice I'd make, but each to their own, and I suppose it does acknowledge that Mother's Day is not easy or even welcome for everyone.

August's trousers and slippers are the best thing I've seen since Max's Bandeau tiara. Absolutely stylish as it gets.

I think a photo of William with Diana would have been more appropriate for the Cambridge’s Instagram yesterday. I’m sure he thinks of his mother often (daily) and Mothers’ Day can be very painful for many people but the children’s cards were a bit odd and even odder to post them online. My children, sadly, never met one of their grandparents and, whilst we mention him and show them photos occasionally, I wouldn’t dream of getting them to do this. It feels contrived and emotionally manipulative because it’s not likely they have strong feelings for a deceased family member they never knew. Children’s minds just don’t work that way.

Lovely name but I hope the tabloids don't say she's copying Kate with middle names. Several of us in my family share middle names as a mix of family names & names our parents liked.

I thought they ( Kate or Pippa )might give a nod to Carole.
Caroline is a lovely name.

Elizabeth is also Kate's middle name I think so maybe it's a nod to her sister.

Elizabeth is Carole's middle name, and Jane from the other Mum, so both are a nod to their grandmothers apparently.

Max alert! She was out on a visit to a dance company today. Love the skirt and the [cherry? cerise?] red colour. She looks effervescent and cheerful as always.

I like the cherry red mask & the colour of the skirt.
Although Max looks nice I'm not really keen on the outfit myself.
I always say if the wearer likes their clothes & they feel & look good in it then that is all that matters.
Though I would really like this outfit in shades of yellow as to me Max is yellow. Well she'd be the colour yellow.
Maybe I'm strange but I always 'see' people as a colour.

I also see Max as bright yellow or orange! Like sunshine.
Orange can be a hard colour to wear, but Max just has as people say, complete joie de vivre and radiance and can carry outfits and colours that would look like fancy dress on others!
