Oh yes Meghan green. She definitely did wear lots of that colour.
Not sure I like her Oprah dress. Wonder if she'll embrace maternity wear this time.

frugalkitty · 02/03/2021 09:22

I wasn't too keen on the pattern on Meghan's interview dress, although it did remind me of the look I adopted after my second baby who was a serial thrower-upper Grin

MaudTheInvincible · 02/03/2021 15:35

Thank you TracyBeaker, that's what I was thinking of. Colours equalling seasons and things. It really complements her tan, I think. I don't know id I agree with Hello mag though, it's less a forest green and more a mossy green imo. I expect Crayola will have it right on their crayons Wink

MaudTheInvincible · 02/03/2021 15:38

Haven't seen Meghan's dress yet. Not sure what to expect of the pattern after reading these comments!

latedecember1963 · 02/03/2021 16:41

I think it's more of a mossy green too, MaudtheInvincible.
I had my colours done years ago and I'm a sweetpea summer.

LadyEloise · 02/03/2021 17:02

Leaf green ?
I just compared it to the leaves of a dying hyacinth and it was exactly the same.

MotherofPearl · 02/03/2021 19:53

Here's a still image from the interview showing Meghan's dress.

frugal, now you've said it I can't unsee the baby throw up!

It's Armani apparently

I like the style but it looks a bit Victorian Suffragette Funeral to me.
But then I can imagine Meghan being a Suffragette in the 1910's & I suppose for Harry leaving the Royal Family as in his job (not personally) is a bit like a bereavement as it's all he's really known apart from his time in the army. Must be very strange for him yet exciting too.

frugalkitty · 02/03/2021 21:44

Happy to be of service MotherofPearl

She needs a good stock of muslin cloths to drape over one shoulder Grin

MaudTheInvincible · 02/03/2021 22:01

Oh, that's an unfortunate design. I do like the shape and the drape of the fabric though!

MotherofPearl · 02/03/2021 22:02

Exactly. My third DC was a dreadful thrower upper too. I don't miss the days of millions of muslins and multiple outfit changes a day for me and her! Grin

MaudTheInvincible · 02/03/2021 22:41

I still use my muslins now to wipe my face cleanser off rather than cotton wool. It seemed such a waste to chuck them.

paradyning · 02/03/2021 22:53

I can't now unsee the sick! 😆

MaudTheInvincible · 02/03/2021 23:08
Grin
MaudTheInvincible · 02/03/2021 23:12

Tbf I did put them into a drawer for a couple of years and forget about them. Maybe that's a necessary part of the process Grin

gingercat02 · 03/03/2021 10:57

Meghan looks beautiful as always I wish I had her skin! Interview is on ITV 8pm Monday 8 March if anyone is interested

paradyning · 03/03/2021 13:19

Wonder if it will be as car crash as Andy's. Although that was hard to top.

MotherofPearl · 03/03/2021 13:50

I feel conflicted about watching the interview. Part of me really wants to watch (nosy), and another part of me feels I shouldn't. I expect I will probably watch.

frugalkitty · 03/03/2021 14:29

Oh she's got beautiful skin, lucky lady. I liked the cut of the dress too, I just couldn't get past the baby puke look-a-like splotches on it. I'm another one who feels they shouldn't watch the interview.......but probably will. I do think they need to pipe down and just get on with being private citizens now though, it's very hypocritical to bang on about intrusion and lack of privacy when you actively put yourself out there at any given opportunity.

Two things I've noticed in recent days but forgot to link.....one article praising Kate for rewarding that green jacket/blazer for the third time publicly, and another article asking if Harry owns more than the one grey suit he keeps getting snapped in! Classic example of 'whatever they do they can't win' I thought.

frugalkitty · 03/03/2021 14:30
  • rewearing the jacket, not rewarding it! Sorry Blush
LadyEloise · 03/03/2021 16:55

I too am conflicted.
I think I won't watch it ( if it's shown in Ireland ).
I'm sure there will be enough commentary the next day to get the gist of it.
I think she looks very pretty but I hope she doesn't get too much work done on her face.
So often celebrities go just that bit too far and wreck their lovely faces.
It's knowing when to stop.

MotherofPearl · 04/03/2021 20:08

Camilla's been visiting a vaccination centre today. This shade of pink suits her I think. She looks so tall, especially in that back view image, that I looked up her height, and discovered that she's 173cm, which is pretty tall. I hadn't really noticed before.

Camilla's style transformation in the last decades has been extraordinary.

MotherofPearl · 04/03/2021 20:12

And Leti's been at an actual awards ceremony, looking very glamorous, despite the mask. I love her earrings, and as I've said before on here, I'm a total sucker for that style of pleated maxi skirt.
