Overnight spot treatment that actually works?

I’ve woken up with loads of tiny spots on my forehead and around my mouth (usually happens during the week before my period) they’re not particularly big or visible but very painful and annoying. I really don’t want a face full of spots on Christmas Day! Is there such thing as a cheap (preferably under £10) overnight spot treatment that actually works and can be bought from Superdrug, boots, or waitrose.

A big spot I would recommend a blister plaster, those things changed my life. For an outbreak of little ones, Revolution Skincare Overnight Blemish Lotion, c£10 at Superdrug. It really does work for me.

Acnecide over the counter at Boots/ Superdrug

I use t zone gel. Its very effective and its 99p in most shops so also a bargain

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/12/2020 15:16

If their painful they are deep and after Christmas you should contact your dr.

I second Acnecide - the only thing that has ever really worked for me! It's not perfect - sometimes I get a big one that's not gone by the next day but for the most part it's pretty impressive I find.

Sudocrem could do the trick.

Sudocrem could do the trick.
I’ve definitely got some of that having around! I’ll give it a try

You need salicylic acid. Origins do a good one, I think it's called On the Spot?

2Kidsinatrenchcoat · 25/12/2020 09:03

Thanks everyone! I used the t zone gel and sudocrem overnight, they haven’t gone away completely but definitely improved! I’ll try and get hold of some acnecide once shops reopen

@2Kidsinatrenchcoat I swear by Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. Quite expensive for a tiny bottle but you only use a tiny amount so it lasts forever!!

hollyhope · 25/12/2020 09:20

Merry beautiful Christmas!

LadyOfTheCanyon · 25/12/2020 15:06

Mario Badescu drying lotion. The nuts.

charlotte2129 · 25/12/2020 15:09

I've been using Mario Badescu drying lotion for 4 years now, I wouldn't be without it.

Sasuma · 25/12/2020 15:24

Another vote for the Mario Bedescu one!
