How big a purse if you don’t use cash?

I’ve rarely been using cash since this pandemic and my big purse is just taking up room in my bag. If you are pretty much cashless what kind of purse/wallet do you use?

I could afford designer if it was only a small card holder, but thinking this might be too much of a leap! Also wondering about the phone case/card holder combo but I think it would annoy me as I use my phone more than I need any cards.

I use an Oliver Bonas card wallet, but mostly use apple pay no so just take my phone (it has an emergency £20 note tucked in the cover). The card wallet is super small and light but that can be a problem in itself, I have found it is easy to accidentally drop it out of a bag or pocket when pulling out gloves, pieces of paper, folded shopping bag etc. Similar to this

I can't remember the last time I used my purse as its huge. I've just been putting my debit card in my phone case. I'm getting a tiny Fossil purse for Christmas which is the middle ground. Room for a couple of cards, a note or two and a couple of coins.

If I’m just walking the dog, I’ll only take my phone and rely on Apple Pay, good idea to slip a note in the case!

You can have more than one thing, you know. I have a big wallet, a little wallet, and no wallet as options, and have phases using each.

I’ve been looking at this Coach one which looks like it would squeeze cards, notes and coins in, does anyone have it, or seen it irl?

I have a small one from Radley. It has a zip that goes all the way round. Inside are cards which can't go on a keyring, receipts which I clear out now and then, it has a central division and cards slot into 6 card holders on either side, some slots have 2 cards in, 3 is a struggle to get them out. Its worth making a mental note of what is where, I can't see all the cards. Thats a small inconvenience for a smaller purse which I much prefer. Its worth thinking about which/how many cards you need to fit in. My only question I have with the Coach one is whether it shuts firm as if it gets full that could be an issue.

I have a pink prada card holder similar to the coach one, it's like a mini accordion file. I absolutely love it, I'll never use a wallet again

Then my phone is in a case with a couple of card slots so I stick my dedit cards in there and any paper money I may have. That way I have my cards at hand if the contactless/Apple Pay decides not to work and I've only bought my phone out with me.

I have a card holder, a folding one. It has a long pocket on the back that can hold a couple of folded banknotes, or be used for receipts/lists.

I have a Mulberry card holder bought this summer when I stopped using cash. Love it.

I have a card holder but because I only really use one card now I just put my bank card into the inside zipped pocket inside my bag. I usually have a £10 note there too for emergencies
