Seen as though the sales have already started online, does anyone have any good tips?

MAC: I personally don't use MAC because I don't believe they are CF, but they have big reductions on their Christmas range, eye shadows down to £5 etc, and free postage.

Its only a bargain if you buy something at a lower price that you would have bought anyway. I usually stock up on No7 by buying gift sets reduced in the Boots sale. Ive already been caught out by Boots and Matalan who reduced prices days after I had made purchases.

Yes that's very true! I usually put the mascara, and it will save around £50 over the year.

I got 30% off a merino wool jumper from &Daughter. Still expensive but couldn't justify full price and 50% off Issey Miyake Pleats Please top from Liberty.

I think I'm going to get a pair of boots that I've had my eye on. Am also on the look-out for a jumper dress and a slouchy black jumper.

I bought some jeans in the top shop sale this morning. One pair left in my size. Quickly bought them. But on going back to view my purchase with excitement I noticed the backs of the jeans at the ankle are all shredded and random . Will have to return as soon as I get them

Moral of my story is make sure you understand all aspects of the item before purchasing.

I did also buy 3 t shirts in the Christmas sale that ended yesterday and I’m sure I’ll be very happy with these when they arrive.

Oysho finally put their summer stock in 50% off the other day so I picked up some of their wrap skirts. Plan to wear to work with a tucked-in linen t-shirt.

John Lewis have hugely slashed prices on some of their Mother of Pearl collaboration. There are only select pieces reduced but the quality is excellent (and sustainable etc) and at such low prices, definitely a bargain. Mother of Pearl clothes usually retail for much much more than the collaboration prices and now with the price reductions, it's a great deal if you like their styles.

I bought a no7 set with all sorts of potions plus a mascara and lipstick. Half price at £40, if bought separately value of £145. I don't use anything on my face except cleansed and moisturiser so this is a money saving way of trying out different potions

I bought quite a few choice items in White Stuff. I wouldn't spend full price but most items are 30 down from 50. I like the colours, and my whole wardrobe needs a refresh, one jumper arrived so far and it works esp with a nice necklace, loose knit suits me plus its all merino and cotton, vowed not to buy too many synthetics.

I haven’t looked at the sales yet as I had my bank hacked into 2 days ago so my card has now been blocked (new one wont be here until at least Tuesday) 😭, probably a good thing as I can’t spend any money but I am looking for Dr martens and possibly a coat.

@HundredMilesAnHour, just wanted to say thank you for your Mother of Pearl recommendation. The pair of jeans I bought as a surprise for DD (reduced from £99 to £14) look great on and she is delighted with them.
