Purse and bag

My birthday is coming up and I'm thinking of asking for a new purse and bag. Can anyone recommend anything? Not massively expensive, but decent quality so I'm thinking £100/£200. Preferably in the sales.

I currently have a long Radley purse and it's ok, but I'm not the most organised and often get receipts and money (notes) stuck in the zip, (because intend to stuff them in), which is really annoying. I would prefer something a bit more 'handy' than a long purse but I also like the ease of being able to fit in all my cards (so many loyalty cards!).

Regarding bag, it needs to be plain and classic, my current one, again is a Radley, but I've had it for about 10 years. It's a dead plain navy blue, that can fit an A4 notebook or MacBook in it.

I have no idea what's in fashion, or what is 'classic'. All I know is that I like mostly plain things and don't want black.

Mumsnet PTB (Powers That Be) can you help me out?

@LittleMissBrainy have you looked at Fossil bags? I really like them, they have lots that would be in your budget (especially in the current sale) and they have some nice purses too.

I have a small crossbody bag from there and the quality is lovely, really nice leather and hard-wearing too.

Regarding receipts and stuff have you considered a small travel organiser or even just plastic wallet with a press stud? I have one in my bag and it helps because I can stuff receipts and they're not in my purse I go through them whenever I can be arsed but it's helped my organisation somewhat.
