Shorter versions of Seasalt coats

Love Seasalt coats but at 5ft 3.5"they drown me. Anyone know of similar coats that are not so longline. Preferably with a contrast zip in a nice colour. If I bring another Rab, North Face, mountain etc cost into the house, my partner will scream

I'm 5'2 and just bought my first Seasalt. I love it, but bought it in regular because I wanted it long. Some of them do petite fitting.

MrsDoctorDear · 22/12/2020 11:29

I ordered petite and regular and had to return them both. I'm 5-2 and looked so dumpy ☹️

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/12/2020 11:30

I don't care if I look dumpy, if it means I'm dry.

I'm waiting for delivery of a Boden Dunbar parka. I'm 5'2" and have ordered the petite as I don't want it too long. The reviews are good so🤞🏻

They do petite sizing in some coats, would recommend.

Woeismypants · 23/12/2020 00:17

Im 5ft 2 and i wear thr long ones. I am dumpy already in a short or long coat. There is no escape from that fact. Id rather be dry and comfortable than appear taller for others.

TuxedoPanther · 23/12/2020 04:38

Try Keela

Tangerines2021 · 23/12/2020 06:43

The other thing about Seasalt is they are v generously sized, so you may need to size down as well as getting petite

Mariebarrone · 23/12/2020 19:41

The thing that really annoys me about Seasalt is that the stores don’t stock petite. You have to order on-line.
Also they always run out of petite stuff! Seasalt, make more petite stuff!!!

AlwaysLatte · 23/12/2020 19:43

The best raincoats, I love mine - totally dry in a downpour. They are long but I like it because they keep me even drier!

Mushroomswithgarlic · 23/12/2020 20:27

They really are excellent, I wore mine today in pouring rain with long wellies and stayed dry as a bone!

danuta22 · 24/12/2020 09:45

helly hansen, the belfast is nice

Folicky · 25/12/2020 20:55

Thank you everyone, might wait to see if the Boden one comes down in price. Will investigate Keela and the Helly Hansen

I think the Seasalt plant hunter is shorter than the Janelle? And comes in a petite size.
