Does anyone still wear their Frye Campus Boots?

I'm thinking about purchasing a pair of Frye boots, but they are so expensive that I only want to order once, and get it right first time.

So, fitting are they true to size? I'm a size 6, shall I go up a half size?

Colour, does anyone know if the 'Banana' is bright yellow when new, or does it dull down, or what about 'Saddle'?

I've a feeling they might be rigid when new, how long, I wonder do they take to soften up?

{I've looked at eBay for some 2nd hand ones, but none in my size (sulk!) there're all nicely beaten up there}

Anyone help me out here. I'm a 501, white shirt kind of girl, and am going to re-embrace my 80's look.

I've got a pair of banana campus boots - they are yellow but not bright yellow if that makes sense? They took ages to break in, but are nice and soft now... I also had rubber soles put on as leather soles and wet English winters wasn't a great combination!

What size are you? I'm looking to sell mine (size 4) as I've barely worn them this year.

Aww, Rapidash they sound perfect but I'm a size 6!

But did you use some kind of cream/protection polish against water stains?
