About 5 years ago (probably more), I deemed my 10 year old short chestnut Uggs to be far too scruffy to be seen in public again. At that time, I stopped wearing Uggs out but I kept the old ones to wear when going to the shed at the end of the garden (tumble dryer and extra freezer in there) or for late-night nipping the dog round the block walks. These current ones can't just be rescued with a clean up as they are actually worn out, with a hole in the toe.
So, now I need to confess I've worn these horrors more than once in public over the last couple of weeks and not just under the cover of darkness!
Do I just accept that right now we should take comfort where we find it and get some new ones? And if I do buy new ones, which style and colour are likely to be the most acceptable in 2021?! I am clueless with fashion as you can probably tell!
Alternative suggestions also welcome please...!
