Trainers (with pic) - what do you think?

I'm being strongly drawn to these trainers for some reason! I tend to just wear plain white trainers so these are pretty bold for me.

What do you think of them? Like? Not so much?

I tend to wear classic casual clothes (aka a bit boring!) - think straight jeans with turn-up, v-neck t-shirt, bomber /fitted jackets, or plain jumper. Navy Didrikson waterproof coat or cream trench coat in warmer weather...

Am thinking these could brighten things up a bit ? Would be wearing them on the school run etc

They look great.

I like to wear lively trainers with an otherwise classic wardrobe and I'm told that it works well.

TornadoOfSouls · 21/12/2020 08:34

I love them!

Tinkhasflown · 21/12/2020 08:34

I've seen them in real life and love them. Gor for it!

LawnFever · 21/12/2020 08:34

StrawberryLipstickStateOfMind · 21/12/2020 15:25

@sunsetandcocktails they're gorgeous, buy them!

dudsville · 21/12/2020 16:38

Great trainers, perfect for the wardrobe you describe!

Soontobe60 · 21/12/2020 16:39

Nearly bought these today but they were a bit tight 😩. Go for it!

sunsetandcocktails · 21/12/2020 21:54

Oh no @Soontobe60 So disappointing when that happens!
Although I've pretty wide feet myself so will see how they fit.

@MsSweeney If you have any recommendations of bright trainers and are happy to share, I'd be interested to see them!

OP, 'lively' is a euphemism; they are quite ugly Grin

With this brand, I know my size so ordering online is easy. Also, you find previous seasons' colours at prices that encourage collection-building, e.g.

John Lewis:
www.johnlewis.com/geox-women's-suzzie-lace-up-trainers-black-off-white/p5097761

Whereas, TKMaxx:
www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/women/shoes/trainers/navy-leather-suede-trainers/p/25157218

Plus, they have a comprehensive website of their own.

Rollergirl11 · 22/12/2020 00:14

DD has them in this colour. She wore them literally all summer and they still look brand new. Really comfy and cushiony!

Can't beat a pair of air maxes! Comfortable and last well. Plus they wash well

LightOfAThousandStars · 22/12/2020 10:13

They look good and would go great with lots of different clothes

DelphineWalsh · 22/12/2020 13:33

I'm really hankering for a pair of Air max 90s. I loved mine when I was a teenager. Need to decide on a colour.

CharitySchmarity · 22/12/2020 22:34

I say go for it. My trainers for walking are the same shade of muted greyish pink that appears in the ones you like. I'm not really a pink person but that shade is practically a neutral. They go with almost all the colours I like, especially black, cream, grey, khaki and any shade of light brown, and my very fashion-conscious student DS has declared that they are really nice. (They are Nike Air too, but I don't know what the exact model is called.)
